Overview Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional violin instructor to teach part-time at The Music Shop, in Boonton, New Jersey. This position is in person with Monday and Saturday availability, plus other weekday afternoons as needed. Responsibilities Teach violin in person at The Music Shop, Boonton, NJ. Set and manage your availability within our open hours; provide consistent scheduling to students and staff. Maintain punctuality and professional conduct; ensure a positive learning environment for students. Pass a routine background check as part of employment requirements. Collaborate with Ensemble Schools’ Shared Services and staff as needed to support students and programs. Qualifications Degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience. Strong love of teaching and experience working with young musicians. Reliable transportation and commitment to punctuality. Ability to pass routine background checks. Pay and Benefits Instructor pay is commensurate with experience, in the range of $30–34/hour. 401(k) program with employer matching available after 90 days on the job.
