JOB PURPOSE: Provide excellent customer service in selling art materials. Receive, stock shipments, and process customer web orders in a fast-paced environment within a supportive team. Responsibilities Possess, acquire and maintain knowledge of artist supplies, creative materials and techniques Assist customers and process payments for purchasing merchandise Handle incoming freight from UPS, USPS, FedEx, couriers and various truck lines Receive shipped merchandise by matching receiving work sheets with the shipped product Stock received merchandise Support inventory management by accurate shelf labeling and inventory counts Pack and ship outbound freight for web orders and store transfers Keep assigned work areas safe, neat and stocked daily. Maintain a professional demeanor when relating to coworkers, customers and shipping companies Must be punctual, reliable and comply with all company policies and procedures.
