If this sounds interesting, we’d like to meet you.## Job Summary**What a typical day looks like:*** Develop and maintain Operation and Maintenance Manuals (O&M), Client Training Manuals, and other technical literature for customers* Translate complex engineering and electrical concepts into clear, concise, and accurate documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.* Work cross-functionally with subject matter experts including engineers, product managers, and service technicians to gather source material.* Ensure documentation complies with internal quality procedures as well as relevant standards (i.e. UL)* Generate Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) documentation.* Maintain documentation revision control and version history in coordination with product development cycles.* Support the development of training materials, quick start guides, and troubleshooting documentation.* Assist with localization and translation efforts for global documentation needs.* Explore ways to utilize AI as a productivity tool to enhance output and maintain consistency* Engage with customers, sales leaders, and customer success functions to improve documentation content.**The experience we’re looking to add to our team,*** Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Electrical Engineering, English, or related field.* 2+ years of technical writing experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or critical power environment.* Experience working with hardware and/or electrical systems documentation.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.* Ability to understand and explain complex electrical and mechanical systems.* Familiarity with electrical standards (i.e. UL) and terminology.* Proficiency with authoring tools (MS Word, Visio).* Comfortable working cross-functionally and managing multiple projects with deadlines.* Preferred: Experience leveraging AI as a productivity tool within the scope of technical writing.
