Assistant Community Manager Location: Track29 Apartments, Uptown area. Status: Full Time, Non‑Exempt. Supervisor: Community Manager. Compensation: Starting at $25 per hour with additional bonuses. Benefits: Company‑paid health insurance (employee only), vacation and sick time, holidays, life insurance, employee discounts. Role: Deliver exceptional customer service, conduct market surveys, and handle leasing responsibilities including showing units, processing applications, managing move‑ins. Maintain daily unit availability updates, process maintenance work orders, adhere to operating procedures and policies, and manage collections per company standards. Provide clerical and phone support, maintain resident files, oversee move‑in appointments and inspections. Resolve resident complaints, conduct move‑out inspections, and manage deposit accountings with Community Manager approval. Maintain accurate account records including NSF’s, rent allowances, concessions, rent increases, and other management‑approved transactions. Perform tasks or duties as assigned by Supervisor. Physical Demands Sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, and reach using feet, legs, back, arms, and hands. Occasionally climb. Work at a personal computer and talk on the phone for extended periods. Detect auditory and/or visual alarms. Work extended/flexible hours and weekends as needed. Attendance/Travel Full‑time position. Availability to work nights, weekends, and occasional holidays. Regular attendance and active participation at company functions and events. Essential Functions Handle high stress situations effectively. Exhibit strong leadership skills. Strong sales background. Knowledge of state law regarding fair housing. Computer Skills Intermediate computer and Internet knowledge. Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Prefer knowledge of Yardi, Voyager, CRM IQ. Learning and Development Commitment to ongoing professional development and career growth through company education programs. Education High school education or equivalent required. CPM, CAM, RMP, or CMCA certifications preferred but not required. Accurately perform intermediate mathematical functions and use resident management software functions. Professional Experience Residential community management experience in multifamily industry required.
