Base pay range $84,000.00/yr - $96,000.00/yr Responsibilities Develop models of equipment and structure to produce 3D plant designs. Generate orthographic and isometric drawings, MTOs, arrangement details, and location plans. Support engineers on projects for operating facilities and develop layouts and drawings for equipment, including plans, sections, and elevations. Support proposal work by developing conceptual plant layouts and generating orthographic views. Check vendor drawings, make necessary corrections, and coordinate submittals as instructed. Follow established CAD standards and guidelines for the industrial gases industry. Report to the Design Department Manager. Collaborate with other departments and work groups as needed. Participate in departmental training programs, seminars, and online training. Qualifications Two-year degree in engineering/drafting technology from a recognized technical institute required. Mechanical or electrical engineering degree or relevant coursework is a plus. Proficiency in CADWORKS 3D and AutoCAD or BricsCAD design software is required. Experience with cryogenic piping and working in the Industrial Gases Industry is a plus. Understanding of pipe stress and pipe supports. Basic computer literacy—Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel). Excellent organization and communication skills. Ability to function effectively in a team environment across multiple disciplines.
