Vice President, Human Resources Director Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented part-time (average 30 hours per week) Media Accounting Coordinator to support the financial operations of commercial productions. You will work closely with the Controller and Producer to manage day-to-day expenses, handle vendor payments, reconcile petty cash, and ensure accurate tracking of production costs. This is a great role for someone looking to grow within the world of production finance in advertising and branded content.
Salary: $25/HR (with benefits)
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with accounts payable: code, and track invoices and payments.
Process and reconcile petty cash, credit card charges, and purchase orders.
Organize and maintain accounting files (physical and digital) for each job.
Work with production teams to gather, verify, and input cost documentation.
Liaise with vendors and crew to collect W-9s & invoices, payroll onboarding & timecards, and resolve payment issues.
Support job wrap processes including reconciliations, final cost reports, and file deliveries.
Maintain cost trackers and expense reports throughout the life of the production.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in accounting, preferably in commercial or short-form production.
Proficiency in Excel, ProHire and ProBooks (Revolution Payroll) would be awesome.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with fast-paced deadlines.
Professional communication skills for interacting with crew, vendors, and internal teams.
Ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects.
Ability to adapt to evolving systems and procedures.
