Overview
UI-UX Analyst – Lansing MI
Responsible for establishing and executing the overall application look, feel, and user interface design for IT solutions.
Responsibilities
Collaborates with Business Analysts and Technical Leads to deliver solutions meeting/exceeding customer requirements.
Engages in project scope understanding, requirements analysis, and ensures IT solution usability, scalability, and functionality.
Participates in requirements gathering, user research, interviews, and testing to identify product usability needs and pain points.
Creates personas, user flows, journey maps, storyboards, sketches, wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes.
Leads visual design, usability, and accessibility of products, ensuring conformance with design patterns, standards, and ADA requirements.
Conducts usability and accessibility (ADA/WCAG) testing, iterates designs, and resolves UI/UX-related issues.
Facilitates regular design and brainstorming meetings, user acceptance testing, and provides UI/UX best practice resources to the development team.
Advocates for end-users, continuously improving product design and usability within project constraints.
Reviews and aligns wireframes with business and technical requirements before presentation and implementation.
Provides expertise and guidance on accessibility requirements, ADA vulnerability remediation, and design standards.
Acts as a liaison between business owners, project teams, and developers to ensure consistent product quality and usability.
Experience: 3-5 years in UI design and user research, a strong portfolio, and relevant education/certification in design fields. Experience with accessibility (WCAG/ADA) and usability testing is essential.
