We are actively recruiting an experienced Specification Writer to join our Technical Design Services team in our Dallas office location. This detail-oriented individual will work to uphold the highest quality standards for technical design and project specifications.
Responsibilities Working with the design team to select appropriate materials and systems for various project types including commercial, healthcare, aviation, education and data centers
Writing project specifications from Corgan master specifications and compiling project manuals
Assisting design team with technical guidance during construction contract administration
Product research and evaluation
Technical design assistance
Construction contract administration support of design studio staff
Mentoring of design studio technical staff
Qualifications This role is an in-office position.
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent
8-10 years of experience in the design & construction industry
3 years Specifictions Writer experience
Experience in one or more of our market sectors (commercial, healthcare, aviation, education, data centers, and interiors) highly preferred
Licensed architect, CSI CCS, or CSI CCCA preferred
