Division: College of Arts and Humanities Campus: Troy Faculty Rank: Lecturer Position Type: 10 Month, Non-Tenure Track, Full-Time Location: Troy – T01 Job Summary: The John M. Long School of Music is seeking a Lecturer of Music to teach applied voice lessons to undergraduate music majors, non-music majors, and musical theatre students. The role includes co-directing the American Popular Music Ensemble, collaborating with musical theatre productions as appropriate, and other teaching responsibilities based on the incumbent’s strengths and the needs of the School of Music. The candidate will also contribute to the university's goals of internationalization and interdisciplinary collaboration, and actively participate in recruiting efforts for the School of Music. Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in Music with voice specialization Additional Information: Driving may be necessary but is not a primary responsibility. Work hours are to be determined.
