About the Fund
A client of the firm is forming a $25–$100 million film finance and production fund investing across two verticals:
- Equity vehicles offering U.S. investors significant tax advantaged investment opportunities; and
- Short-term credit facilities providing fixed-income-style returns on fully collateralized principal within 8–12 months.
The fund already has a project pipeline and a qualified investor lead list in place.
The founding team includes experienced film executives. The goal is to build a scalable, professionally managed film-finance platform delivering repeatable investor returns and creative excellence.
About the Role
We are seeking a Co-Founder / Partner (Capital Formation & Investor Relations) to own fundraising strategy, investor communications, and long‑term LP relationships.
You will be the financial engine of the partnership, designing and executing the raise, managing investor outreach, coordinating with counsel and broker‑dealer affiliates, and building durable family‑office and private‑credit relationships.
You’ll collaborate closely with two other partners (Creative / Production and Finance / Operations) but operate with significant autonomy day‑to‑day.
This role requires a strategic executive and hands‑on operator — someone who can think institutionally, act independently, and genuinely loves film.
Who We’re Looking For
Ideal Candidate
- 5 + years in fund capital formation, investment banking, private credit, or entertainment finance
- Proven record raising capital from family offices, UHNWIs, or institutional LPs
- Deep understanding of fund structure, Reg D 506(c) compliance, and investor reporting
- Highly autonomous, entrepreneurial, and execution‑oriented
- Collaborative team player who values creative integrity and clear communication
- Genuine passion for film, media, and storytelling

- Career consultants or advisors without completed raises
- Pure producers, creatives, or sales agents without investor‑relations experience
- Candidates seeking a salary, draw, or short‑term placement fee
Compensation & Structure
- Equity: 25 % ownership in the fund’s General Partner / Management Company
- Participation: Share of management‑fee revenue and carried interest
- Projected Range: $275 K — $1.1 M annualized over the fund’s 5‑year life, depending on fund size and performance
- No salary or draw at inception; all legal and operating expenses funded by the principal investor.
