You will collaborate with the entire newsroom to ensure all aspects of the show run smoothly, using your technical expertise to elevate production quality. WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM NEWS Required Qualifications Experience: Television production - 1-3 years Education: College degree or technical discipline in television production or related field, or comparable work experience Technical Skills: Aptitude and experience with television control room and studio production technology, including audio mixers, robotic camera controls, production automation systems, newsroom editorial software, non-linear editing systems, satellite systems, bonded cellular systems, router systems, and automated on-air play out systems; familiarity with video switchers, character generators, DVE’s, and video servers Skills: Promote teamwork within a positive work environment; exhibit leadership during directing duties; understand shot composition, lighting, and aesthetics Abilities: Troubleshoot technical issues; work independently without direct supervision; train others Working Conditions Semi-noisy office environment NPR110 2025-62156 2025 Here, our employees don’t just have jobs — they’re building careers. Compensation : The base pay for this position generally is between $20.00 and $33.11 per hour. Actual compensation will consider skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
