We’re looking for a creative, curious, and concept-driven Copywriter to craft engaging, persona-based messaging across social media, paid ads, digital campaigns, web and print. This role requires someone who can translate marketing strategy into compelling stories that move audiences to action.

Job Overview – The Creative Copywriter (Social, Ad Copy + More) will be responsible for developing clear, compelling, and on-brand copy across multiple channels. This includes writing for social media, paid ads, email campaigns, and other marketing materials that support our clients’ goals. This role should also have comfort in working with AI tools.

This person will work collaboratively with the digital, creative, and account teams — contributing ideas during campaign development while ensuring all copy aligns with the target persona, platform, and brand voice. The ideal candidate is both a writer and thinker: someone who loves words but also understands how they drive results.

Responsibilities

Copywriting & Content Creation:

  • Write engaging, platform-specific copy for social media, digital ads, email campaigns, and landing pages.
  • Develop short- and long-form content that connects with audiences across B2B and B2C industries.
  • Craft messaging that reflects the client’s brand voice and aligns with campaign goals and audience insights.
  • Edit and refine copy for clarity, tone, and performance — with an eye for both creativity and conversion.

Creative Concepting & Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with account, digital, and design teams to develop creative ideas and campaign concepts.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions, helping shape campaign narratives, taglines, and core messaging.
  • Partner with designer and strategist to ensure words and visuals work seamlessly together.
  • Work closely with media and strategy teams to align copy with funnel stages, personas, and performance goals.
  • Have comfort in working with AI tools in collaboration with creative teams.

Performance & Optimization:

  • Analyze engagement and performance data to refine messaging and improve results.
  • Collaborate with digital teams to A/B test ad copy and headlines across platforms.
  • Incorporate SEO, social, and ad platform best practices into all content.

Client Collaboration:

  • Participate in client meetings and presentations to share campaign ideas and creative rationale.
  • Translate client feedback into thoughtful revisions and ensure all deliverables meet expectations.
  • Help clients find their authentic brand voice across digital platforms.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • 8+ years of professional copywriting experience, ideally within a marketing or advertising agency.
  • Proven success writing for both paid and organic social media campaigns.
  • Experience creating copy across multiple platforms (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, email, and landing pages).
  • Portfolio that demonstrates creative range, strategic thinking, and an understanding of how to write for different audiences.
  • Nice to have - experience in the building, construction or product industry.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills across short- and long-form formats.
  • Ability to write in diverse tones and voices, adapting to client industries and personas.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing, content strategy, and buyer journey alignment.
  • Familiarity with marketing tools and platforms such as Sprout Social, HubSpot, Google Ads, and Meta Ads Manager.
  • Attention to detail, time management, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
