NAB Leadership Foundation is hiring: Broadcast Engineer in City of Schenectady

About the Role

WRGB/WCWN has an excellent career opportunity for a full‑time Broadcast/IT Engineer. This position involves maintaining broadcast equipment, computers and servers related to television transmission and video automation systems, as well as business‑side workstations. The candidate will be directly responsible for hands‑on support of modern broadcast and IT equipment.

$19.50 to $21.50 per hour

Requirements

• A great team‑oriented attitude and dedication to quality
• Hold a valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Proficiency in troubleshooting problems and responding quickly under pressure
• Self‑starter, able to work efficiently without direct supervision and as part of a group
• Be able to work effectively with other departments, receiving and communicating instructions via email, phone, or in person
• Be able to read and understand technical materials
• Experience working with computers, servers, and network switches

Experience

• Associates degree or higher in broadcast, IT, electronics or computer related field
• 2 - 4 years of related broadcast experience
