Overview

Manager, Creative - Art (Bangkok-based, relocation provided) role at Agoda. This position leads art direction and visual storytelling within the Brand Creative team, focusing on bold concepts, high-quality visual execution, and mentoring designers across multiple touchpoints to ensure consistency, professionalism, and impact in all communications.

Responsibilities

• Creative Leadership: Partner with Creative Managers to lead the art direction and design vision across many types of projects.
• Help drive the development of design concepts for campaigns and creatives, e.g., storyboards, online ads, and visual systems.
• Manage a team of visual designers and collaborate with fellow Creative Managers to elevate craft and push for excellence.

• Concepting & Execution: Generate fresh, innovative ideas for campaigns and BAU projects (digital, social, print, OOH).
• Execute campaigns with hands-on art direction and design (50%) while supervising team projects (50%) to ensure craft and attention to detail in all deliverables.
• Direct designers on the importance of adhering to fundamental design rules to ensure strong visual storytelling.
• Confidently present creative concepts and design rationale to stakeholders.

• Collaboration: Partner with Creative Managers (copy and production) to develop unified campaign ideas.
• Work with Brand Management to align creative solutions with objectives and brand strategy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into visually compelling and impactful work.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Team Leadership: Provide clear design feedback on projects you lead, and offer design guidance on shared projects.
• Assist in the career development and training of designers.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and design-driven creative culture.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

• 8+ years’ experience, with minimum 5 years as an Art Director in an agency or client-side environment.
• Proficient with industry-standard design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Figma).
• Significant working knowledge of Gen AI tools for creative production.
• Portfolio highlighting related works (campaigns, digital marketing assets, logos, video ads, layouts).
• Deep understanding of typography, layout, color, art direction, and emerging design trends.
• Experience across digital, social, and traditional media.
• Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas and rationale.
• Excellent listening and collaboration skills; ability to take in information and chart a path forward.
• Resourceful, organized, detail-oriented; able to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Excellent English language skills.

• Nice-to-have: Motion design and animation skills
• Nice-to-have: Social media content creation
• Nice-to-have: Knowledge of UX/UI Design
