Overview
Graphic Artist at Foundation for Puerto Rico. This role involves creating engaging, on-brand graphics for a variety of media and shaping the visual aspects of the organization’s website, social media, promotional materials, advertising campaigns, and other communications.
Responsibilities
- Study design briefs and determine requirements.
- Conceptualize visuals based on requirements and brand guidelines.
- Prepare rough drafts and present ideas.
- Develop illustrations, logos, and other designs using software such as Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Collaborate with the Communications Specialist and Communications Manager to produce final designs.
- Test graphics across various media and amend designs based on feedback.
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.
- Support various programs within the organization through visual design.
- Maintain the integrity and quality of FPR’s online properties through regular updates, testing, and content review.
- Recommend and implement new technologies and creative improvements.
- Participate in ongoing maintenance of FPR’s digital platforms, including content updates and internal requests.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required based on organizational needs.
Required Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field.
- Proven graphic design experience.
- Strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphic work.
- Proficiency in design software such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and Photoshop.
- Keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail.
- Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
- Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, advertisements, and multimedia design.
Preferred Education And Experience
- Copywriting and editing skills.
- Experience managing social media platforms.
- Knowledge of website maintenance.
- Familiarity with tools such as Adobe InDesign, Canva, Eventbrite, Mailchimp, and Gain.

- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Fully bilingual (Spanish and English).
- Motivated team player who maintains efficiency and accuracy when multitasking.
