Overview

When you join our Leasing and Resident Experience team as a Community Manager, you become part of a passionate group dedicated to nurturing belonging in our apartment communities. Primary Responsibilities

  • Elevate the customer service experience for existing and prospective residents in accordance with our service standards.
  • Provide sales, customer service, and administrative leadership and support to the team and overall operation.
  • Think like an owner in achieving financial objectives by assisting with rent collection, timely bill processing and payment, operational forecasting, annual budget prep, scheduling expenditures, variance analysis, and initiating corrective action.
  • Navigate and resolve resident issues with clear and courteous communication and coach others in doing the same.
  • Contribute to the ideation and implementation of advertisement materials and community marketing campaigns.
  • Create and disseminate timely, clear, and compassionate communications to prospects, residents, vendors, and internal groups/team members.
  • Contribute to elevating and maintaining an exceptional online reputation and compliance with state and local legal requirements.

  • Be a positive role model and champion of company mission, vision, values, and customer service and operational standards of excellence.
  • Hire, inspire, and develop a diverse, high-performing team.
  • Take ownership in talent attraction and retention efforts by delivering exceptional candidate and employee experiences.
  • Coach and mentor team members in their professional and leadership development efforts and facilitate participation in on-the-job and company-directed learning programs.
  • Ensure that policies, procedures, safety, and compliance expectations are clearly communicated and consistently met.
  • Proactively manage staff scheduling, employee time off requests, overtime needs, and general timekeeping responsibilities.
  • Demonstrate learning agility by taking ownership of your path to professional development and career advancement.

  • Proficient with CRM systems and/or industry-specific management software, such as Yardi.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary range for this role is $81,000 - $95,000 (subject to experience).

Additional Compensation: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in our annual bonus programs, which may include leasing commissions, renewal bonuses, and spot awards.
