Press Press Merch is a 25 year old merchandise company located in Roanoke, Virginia. We serve a nationwide list of clients in the music entertainment industry the as well as the local community by creating high quality and memorable products and hold our work to the highest standard. We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic and Pre-Press Artist to join our team. This position is on-site and will require a minimum of 30 hours per week. Available benefits include health insurance, IRA, paid holidays, paid time off and no weekend hours.Job Summary:As a Graphic Designer at Press Press Merch, you will create visually compelling designs tailored for our clients. You will prepare print-ready files, ensure color accuracy, and collaborate with sales and production staff to produce high-quality custom apparel and products. The ideal candidate has a strong sense of design, excellent technical skills, and familiarity with the software and decoration methods used at Press Press Merch.Key Responsibilities:Create custom artwork and graphics for apparel, promotional products, and other printed materials.Prepare and optimize print-ready files for screen printing, including separations, vector artwork, and color management.Collaborate with internal sales reps clients to understand design needs, provide mockups, and revise designs as requested.Maintain brand consistency across designs and ensure high-quality output.Work closely with production staff to ensure designs are feasible and properly executed.Stay up-to-date with design trends, software, and decoration techniques.Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Qualifications:Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).Strong understanding of color theory, typography, and layout design.Experience with screen printing, embroidery, or other production methods preferred.Ability to create vector art and properly separate colors for printing.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Previous experience in graphic design or print design is a plus.Benefits:Competitive salary (based on experience)Paid time off / holidaysRetirement plansOpportunities for professional growth and skill developmentCreative and collaborative work environmentTickets to sponsors events (Music Festivals, Sports, etc..)How to Apply:Please submit your resume, portfolio, and a brief cover letter explaining your experience with graphic design and print production.
