Base pay range

$60,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr

The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating both digital and print marketing materials that promote Typenex Medical and affiliate companies. This role has a strong emphasis on digital design, designing email campaigns, website layouts, and other digital assets, while supporting print initiatives such as brochures, trade show displays, sell sheets, and other branded collateral. The Graphic Designer will collaborate closely with the Creative Team, Marketing Manager, and web developers to design and implement projects from concept through completion. Typenex Medical is looking for a deadline-oriented Graphic Designer with excellent work ethic, problem-solving abilities, and who enjoys working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Major Job Responsibilities, Functions, and Duties

• Ability to create all aspects of design work for print and digital materials including, but not limited to, print collateral, trades show displays, product labeling, website layouts, email campaigns, landing pages, and all digital assets as needed.
• Design, code, and implement email campaigns into our email automation platform (Pardot).
• Collaborate with members of the Creative Team to develop and execute new and engaging designs.
• Present rationale for design choices and ensure design meets business objectives as stated in creative briefs/meetings with Marketing Manager and/or business users.
• Manage design tasks, including quickly generating creative ideas, refining projects and drafts, and execution while communicating with Marketing Manager.
• Responsible for solid knowledge and understanding of emerging trends and technologies and the ability to institute best practices for print and digital marketing deliverables.
• Adapt to changing needs of the business, develop new skills, and assist with projects outside of the normal job responsibilities as needed.
• Accountable for meeting Quality requirements.

General Job Requirements

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Graphic Design, Digital Design, or related field preferred.
• 2-3 years relevant design experience in marketing role.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite Software.
• Experience in Figma required.
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Experience with Pardot a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Ability to balance between creative innovation and the need to meet business requirements.
• Self-starter personality with enthusiastic “go-getter” attitude in accepting work and new challenges.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while delivering high-quality work within the given timelines.
• Flexible in jumping across business lines to work cross-functionally when needed.

Physical Job Requirements

• Able to work a hybrid schedule in the headquarter office, located in downtown Chicago, IL.
• Able to travel domestically as needed.
• Able to remain in a stationary position, either sitting or standing, for prolonged periods of time.

Compensation

The Graphic Designer can expect an annual salary range of $60,000 - $70,000 and will be determined based on prior experience and skill level.
