KVEO CBS 4 in Harlingen/Brownsville/McAllen, TX (DMA 80) is hiring an investigative multimedia journalist to join the award‑winning “4 Investigates” team. The station’s brand is “in‑depth, investigative.”

As a multimedia journalist, you will work with the Investigative Producer on short‑ and long‑term investigations, pursue follow‑up reports, break investigative angles when a major news story arises, and cover specific investigative beats. You will consistently tackle incoming tips, uncover problems and hold those responsible accountable.

Requirements

• Knowledge of data analysis, public information requests, backgrounding, interviewing subjects/sources, digital storytelling, and shooting/editing video.
• Team collaboration with other investigators.
• Meeting deadlines.
• Excellent reading, writing, spelling, grammar, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in digital video editing.
• Confidence in ad‑libbing presentations without scripts or teleprompters.
• Exceptional research skills.
• Preferred bilingual – English and Spanish.
• Flexibility to work any shift.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
