It’s about creating a strong voice that delivers value to the community and builds loyalty to Globe Media products, not about being a personal influencer.

    • Surface civic and community signals: school notices, city service changes, construction milestones, campus events.

    • Capture and publish short photos/videos to bring immediacy and authenticity to posts.
    • Curate content from disparate sources across the region.
  • Distribution & Integration
    • Publish across Instagram, TikTok, Threads, newsletters, and more while maintaining a live feed of posts piped directly into Globe.com’s Cambridge & Somerville section.

    • Work with the Globe newsroom news product leaders, audience and multimedia teams, and product teams to test live integrations into our sites.
    • Collaborate with platforms, audience, and multimedia teams to experiment with new formats, strategies, and tactics.
    • Collaborate broadly across teams — partner with editors and the audience team to ensure accuracy and resonance, with audience and SEO to refine and optimize taxonomy and landing pages, and with platforms and audience to maximize reach and impact.
