We’re looking for a Public Relations Director (10+ years of professional experience) to primarily handle strategic communications, public relations and public affairs clients. This position will involve managing day-to-day client relationships, overseeing an internal account team and providing clear directions to staff. Agency experience and interest in healthcare and/or public policy communications preferred.

Expected Duties

Client relations and management

Develop and implement communication strategies

Media relations and strategy

Significant writing and content production

Monitoring, analyzing and evaluating media coverage

Event management

Job Requirements

10+ years of professional experience

Public relations or corporate communications experience

Excellent written communication skills

Flexibility and ability to cope well under pressure and tight deadlines

Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task daily

Ability to comprehend and translate complex issues into effective messaging and materials

Preferred Experience

Agency and client management experience

Healthcare communications and advocacy experience

Public affairs and policy experience or interest
