Tacheny Exteriors is offering a hybrid field outreach role in Tempe, AZ and surrounding Valley neighborhoods. This is a dynamic position with daily variation, outdoors work, and a focus on engaging homeowners for services (roofing, siding, windows, and gutters) and scheduling free evaluations.

What You’ll Be Doing (Hybrid Role)
This is not your typical carpentry or sales role—it’s a hybrid position where every day looks a little different:
Represent Tacheny Exteriors as part of our field outreach team in designated neighborhoods.
Engage with homeowners about our services (roofing, siding, windows, and gutters) and promote our free evaluation program.
Help set up appointments with homeowners and connect them with our expert team.
Work outdoors, walk neighborhoods, and build strong relationships in the community.
Participate in a 5-day paid training program (a few hours each day) led by industry experts with 15–20 years of experience.
No selling or closing required — your role is to spark conversations and schedule free evaluations.
What We’re Looking For
Outgoing, people-first personality – comfortable starting conversations with new people

Reliable transportation – we cover multiple areas across the Valley

Comfortable working outdoors in all conditions

Requirements
Minimum Requirements (non-negotiables)
Age 18+ (required for employment)
High school diploma or GED (college a plus but not required)
Reliable transportation (must be able to get to various neighborhoods around the Valley)
Ability to walk and work outdoors for several hours in all weather conditions
Must be able to pass a background check (if your company requires it)
Available to work at least one of the set shifts (Tuesday–Saturday OR evenings / weekends)
Preferred Skills / Qualities
Outgoing, friendly personality – enjoys talking to new people
Competitive mindset – likes to set and hit goals
Resilient and coachable – can handle rejection and bounce back quickly
Time management – shows up on time and uses shift hours productively
Team player – willing to contribute to a high-energy, supportive environment
Sales, retail, customer service, or outreach experience (a plus, but not required — you provide training)
Performance Expectations
Appointments set per week (e.g., 8–12 appointments typical, with bonuses for exceeding goals)
Engage with 25–30 homeowners per day (depends on territory and conditions)
Maintain professionalism in all interactions — representing Tacheny’s brand
Attend the 5-day training program and team huddles / meetings when scheduled
Follow the company process for logging leads and scheduling appointments (scorecard accountability)
