Responsibilities

Provide project leadership and expert guidance to instructional developers, acting as the primary strategic liaison for program managers, associate IDs and SMEs to translate business needs into effective learning solutions.

Drive the end‑to‑end project lifecycle—from initial scoping and design through to implementation—by creating clear timelines, managing stakeholder communication, and implementing evaluation strategies to measure tangible business impact.

Facilitate requirements gathering meetings with key partners to identify needs and task analysis, scope projects, and evaluate existing content to select the most appropriate training approach.

Lead or independently develop instructional materials (tutorials, digital interactives, user guides, audio, video content, storyboards, simulations, activities, assessment tests, etc.) that transform into professionally written, engaging learning.

Be the voice of the learner, ensuring their needs are at the forefront of our content efforts and helping the team iterate and improve content offerings.

Compensation Bay Area, California — Base Pay Range: $180,500 – $244,000.

Position eligible for cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits in accordance with applicable plans. Pay is based on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience and work location. Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender to drive ongoing pay equity.

Qualifications

6+ years of experience with adult learning theory and instructional design strategies for performance‑based outcomes.

Ability to innovate with AI and other technology and move quickly from analysis through development for self‑paced and blended environments.

Ability to facilitate brainstorming sessions and gather requirements from partners.

Advanced skill with multimedia tools, software, video, graphics, and audio applications (e.g., Articulate Rise, Storyline, Camtasia, Vyond, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, Audacity).

Experience with project management and time management methodologies to prioritize and deliver on several projects concurrently.

Demonstrated experience communicating technical/complicated concepts and processes using clear, simple language and visuals.

Experience conducting quality analysis reviews of online learning materials.

Engages in self‑continuous improvement to remain informed on best practices, new technologies, methods, and techniques in the performance improvement profession.

Ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels and coach other learning professionals.

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.

Master’s or higher degree in Instructional Design or related field is a plus.
