Corporate Communications and Events Specialist We are seeking a Corporate Communications and Events Specialist to help tell our company’s story and elevate our brand visibility across audiences. In this role, you will combine strategic communication, content creation, and event execution to strengthen our reputation, engage stakeholders, and bring our mission to life. Responsibilities

Communications & Storytelling

Develop and execute integrated communication strategies that reinforce company vision and brand positioning. Write and edit press releases, media pitches, executive messages, blog posts, and marketing materials. Ensure website content is current, relevant and engaging, leveraging strategic copy and branding. Partner closely with leadership, engineering, business development and product teams to translate complex technology into clear, compelling stories. Support internal communications that promote transparency, alignment, and engagement. Monitor industry trends and proactively identify storytelling opportunities. Events & Experiences

Plan, coordinate, and execute corporate events—including trade shows, customer demos, investor days, and company meetings. Work cross-functionally with business development, marketing, engineering, and operations teams to deliver events that align with business goals and brand experience. Manage event logistics, vendor relationships, budgets, and timelines. Track event success metrics and apply learnings to improve future events. Media & Brand Engagement

Build and maintain strong relationships with partners to drive media coverage. Monitor and measure media coverage, event outcomes, and brand sentiment. Collaborate across departments to ensure consistent messaging and brand representation. Drive digital storytelling and social media initiatives to enhance visibility and engagement. Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field. 3–6 years of experience in communications, PR, or event management—preferably within technology or related industries. Lidar experience a plus. Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills. Technical writing experience a plus. Proven ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams and stakeholders. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines and solve problems. Experience supporting executives and coordinating complex projects. Onsite a minimum of 3 days per week at our home office in Pleasanton, CA. Occasional travel required – approximately 10%.
