Senior Manager, Direct Digital Marketing
Join to apply for the Senior Manager, Direct Digital Marketing role at Universal Orlando Resort. The Senior Manager of Direct Digital Marketing will help lead a best-in-class team responsible for the development and execution of omni-channel, data driven strategies and programs that drive annual revenue and attendance growth for Universal Destinations & Experiences (UDX).
This role will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to execute robust contact strategies leveraging email, direct mail, mobile and other direct marketing tactics to meet, or exceed, business objectives.
Major Responsibilities
Leadership
Lead a team of DDM professionals and agencies in the development, execution, and maintenance of 1:1 campaigns across direct channels supporting Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood.
Ensure utilization of 1:1/direct best practices and remain current on the latest tools, trends, and techniques. Ensure all programs are compliant with privacy laws.
Ensure the team is adequately equipped with the necessary tools and training to perform the tasks associated with developing and implementing data‑driven programs.
Represent the team as needed in pertinent product, segment, and other business-related meetings.
Develop automated, trigger-based B2C and B2B CRM programs based on key milestones across the customer lifecycle, and across channels, that increase engagement, retention and revenue.
Lead communication strategies, including identifying audience segments, relevant content, and communication frequency.
Improve the health of our 1P database through the development of acquisition, nurture and at‑risk strategies.
Develop and manage program roadmap that advanced DDM programs in support of business objectives.
Accountable for the development of initiatives that drive growth, new capabilities, tools and continuous improvement.
Program Management
Responsible for overall deployment schedules to ensure timely execution of campaigns and efficient use of resources and budget.
Develop and maintain strong partnerships with cross-divisional stakeholders to drive integration of DDM programs throughout pertinent UDX initiatives.
Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent demonstrated professional experience in a related field (e.g., Business, Marketing, Communications).
Experience
7+ years of experience in Digital Marketing; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
