Summary The Marketing Director is responsible for planning, developing, and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention across all casino and hospitality operations. This position oversees advertising, promotions, loyalty programs, digital marketing, special events, and public relations, ensuring alignment with brand standards and business objectives. The Marketing Director will work closely with the executive team to position the property competitively in the marketplace while fostering a strong community presence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and implement annual marketing plans and budgets that support organizational goals.

Oversee advertising campaigns (print, digital, radio, TV, social media) and manage vendor relationships.

Lead development and execution of promotions, giveaways, and casino floor events to drive traffic and increase play.

Manage loyalty/rewards programs and analyze player data to maximize customer engagement and profitability.

Coordinate property-wide special events, entertainment, and sponsorships.

Ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms, signage, and communications.

Collaborate with Food & Beverage, Hotel, and Casino departments on cross-promotions and packages.

Direct the production of marketing collateral, creative design, and digital content.

Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics and prepare regular reports for leadership.

Manage the marketing team, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.

Serve as the public relations lead, including media contact and crisis communications when needed.

Maintain compliance with Tribal, Federal, and State gaming regulations in all promotional activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum 5–7 years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a management role (casino/hospitality experience strongly preferred).

Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and vendors.

Proficiency in digital marketing platforms, analytics, and CRM systems.

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Creative thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license through the Tribal Gaming Commission.

Working Conditions

Primarily office environment, with frequent movement across casino and hospitality areas.

Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally when setting up events or promotions.

Regular exposure to a fast‑paced, customer-facing environment.
