Job Description: About the Role: As Senior Reporter - Global LPG Markets, you will cover the US export and global LPG Markets. As a critical member of the Spots price reporting team across North America and Europe, you will engage with market contacts and sources to produce price assessments, analytics, and news for daily publication. You will report to the Global Editorial Lead for LPG. About the Team

Market Reporting

Gather and verify market price data and transactions from traders, brokers, exchanges, and registries

Monitor trading volumes, liquidity, and market sentiment

Publish accurate daily price assessments and market commentary that align with IOSCO principles

Manage a network of market sources

Contribute to methodology development and updates as markets evolve

Research & Analysis

Monitor regulatory and policy changes in European Emission Trading Schemes and Nature-related frameworks

Identify and explain trends in supply, demand, and pricing dynamics

Contribute to analytical reports, dashboards, and newsletters

Editorial & Communication

Write concise market reports, news stories, and analysis

Participate in editorial meetings and collaborate with other reporters and analysts

Represent the OPIS at industry events, conferences, and webinars

Publishing

Complete end of day operations for daily report publishing

You Have

At least 3 years' commodities reporting, financial journalism, or environmental markets

Knowledge of market dynamics, price drivers, and price reporting functions in the energy industry

Built relationships with market sources

Proficiency in Excel (can perform complex functions), market data platforms, and digital publishing tools

Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Energy, Journalism, or a related discipline

Knowledge of and experience with carbon pricing mechanisms is beneficial

Additional language competency is beneficial
