About You As an

Associate Consultant , you will play a critical role in leveraging data analytics and visualization tools to drive data‑driven decision‑making for our clients. Working closely with senior consultants and client teams, you will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets, creating compelling visualizations, and delivering actionable insights through interactive Power BI dashboards. What You’ll Do Data Analysis and Interpretation

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand business challenges and define data requirements.

Perform data discovery on insurance datasets to identify relationships, patterns, anomalies, and value ranges.

Create visually stunning and interactive dashboards, often using Power BI, to effectively communicate complex data insights.

Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and translate business needs into compelling visualizations.

Design and implement data models, calculations, and KPIs to support dashboard development.

Ensure data accuracy and integrity by conducting thorough data validation and testing.

Write SQL queries to retrieve, manipulate, and aggregate data from relational databases.

Client Engagement and Relationship Management

Participate in client meetings, workshops, and presentations to understand client objectives and challenges.

Build strong relationships with client stakeholders by delivering high‑quality insights and exceptional client service.

Communicate findings in a clear and concise manner to non‑technical audiences.

Support the development of client deliverables, including reports, executive presentations, and recommendations.

Continuous Learning and Professional Development

Stay up‑to‑date with the latest trends and best practices in data analytics, visualization, and consulting.

Develop expertise in advanced analytics techniques, such as machine learning and predictive modeling.

Seek out and actively participate in internal and external training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Contribute to knowledge‑sharing initiatives by sharing insights, experiences, and industry research.

Required Qualifications

1-2 years of experience in a data analytics role with heavy reliance on SQL and dashboard tools.

Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline is required.

Strong academic record demonstrating analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.

Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, with hands‑on experience in Power BI or similar BI platforms.

Proficiency in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and retrieval from relational databases.

Familiarity with statistical methods, data mining techniques, and data modeling concepts.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and clients.

Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced, results‑oriented environment.

Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high‑quality work within tight deadlines.

Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R is a plus.

Prior experience in management consulting or relevant internships is desirable.

Must be local to the Chicago, IL area.

Must be willing to travel up to 50% to client locations and work in a hybrid work environment.

Must be authorized to work for any U.S. organization without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
