Senior Account Manager – Communications Industry – Remote (Dallas, TX)

Location Dallas, Texas – Remote; candidates must live within a commutable distance of Dallas for frequent onsite meetings.
Key Responsibilities Business Development
Proactively identify, target, and engage potential clients to generate new business opportunities.
Develop compelling proposals, presentations, and RFP responses tailored to client needs.
Maintain and grow a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools with consistent follow‑ups.
Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales goals and other KPIs set by leadership.
Client Engagement & Activity
Build and maintain strong client relationships as the primary point of contact, prioritizing in‑person interactions and virtual platforms.
Travel frequently to client locations for hands‑on support and to represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Partner with clients to understand their business challenges and objectives, aligning TSG’s service areas to meet their needs.
Act as a client advocate, ensuring expectations are met and requests are responded to promptly.
Engage senior client personnel and decision‑makers to establish and sustain professional relationships.
Develop and execute detailed account plans focused on growth and alignment with client business goals.
Internal Collaboration
Collaborate with technical solutions development to design and present tailored solutions.
Work with project delivery to ensure seamless execution of deliverables and alignment on timelines.
Support sales with comprehensive proposals, pricing strategies, and contracts.
Coordinate with marketing to leverage campaigns, collateral, and events for business development.
Act as liaison between client‑facing teams and internal departments for efficient client success.
Key Qualifications
3+ years of business development and professional selling experience.
Experience selling IT consulting services or technology solutions.
Sales experience within the Communications industry highly preferred.
Consistently exceeding objectives and quotas.
Experience with new account development and/or large account management.
Strong prospecting and sales cycle management skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience.
