As a Web Developer, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the U.S. Navy. You will play a crucial role in supporting our CNIC Enterprise Infrastructure Services team which provides system administration and development/maintenance support of Commander, Navy Installation Command (CNIC) TWMS application.
Responsibilities
- Web applications developer/Cyber security Engineer for the Department of the Navy’s Total Workforce Management Services (TWMS) software application in an AWS Cloud Environment.
- Develop, design, and code modules for the Navy Total Workforce Management (TWMS).
- Utilize Visual Studio, Classic ASP, ASP.NET, C#, HTML, CS, Bootstrap, MS SQL language, and MS‑SQL Server Management Studio.
- Build IA into systems deployed to operational environments (Windows Server).
- Assist architects and systems developers in identifying and implementing appropriate information security functionality to ensure uniform application security policy and enterprise solutions.
- Develop and maintain TWMS Web Modules/processes: Information module, CWF module, CWF Designation Letter, CWF Workforce editing tool, Document Upload module. TWMS Modules responsibilities include but are not limited to: TWMS General.
- Modify TWMS DB and programs.
- Process Tier II/III Remedy tickets, requests supporting TWMS functionality and data errors, and correct issues as identified.
- Coordinate with TWMS via TWMS tickets and track tasking through TWMS tracking system.
- Status reporting.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret clearance or SSBI.
- 3+ years of Web Development experience.
- Experience developing applications in an AWS cloud environment.
- DoD 8570 IAT II compliant – Security+ CE certification.
- BS Degree in Computer Science or IT related field.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Location: Onsite in San Diego, CA.

Salary range: $93,500 – $126,500 (variable based on experience and location). Scheduled weekly hours: 40. Travel required: None. Telecommuting options: Onsite. Work location: USA, CA, San Diego.
