Are you a creative and strategic marketing professional with a passion for hospitality? Marcus Hotels & Resorts is seeking an

Area Hotel Marketing Manager

to join our team and support the marketing efforts of The Pfister Hotel, Saint Kate – The Arts Hotel, and Hilton Milwaukee. You will drive group and leisure business through innovative promotional campaigns, public relations initiatives, and strategic partnerships, ensuring our properties remain top destinations for travelers. You will collaborate with sales, revenue, and operations leaders to deliver consistent and effective messaging while serving as the primary liaison to PR agencies and tourism partners.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute integrated marketing plans that align with sales goals and business objectives.

Lead marketing initiatives for group and leisure segments, including seasonal and need-based promotions.

Manage public relations efforts, serving as the primary liaison with PR agencies, media, and tourism bureaus.

Oversee promotional and transactional email campaigns, analyzing performance and optimizing results.

Coordinate media stays, events, and special promotions to enhance visibility and guest engagement.

Manage advertising agreements, creative assets, and campaign timelines while tracking ROI.

Maintain and update branded websites, landing pages, and promotional content in partnership with digital teams.

Collaborate with sales, revenue, and operations teams to ensure marketing efforts support business priorities.

Provide reporting on marketing, PR, and campaign performance, making recommendations for improvement.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

What We Are Looking For

5+ years of marketing or public relations experience, preferably in hospitality, tourism, or related industries.

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, PR, communications, or related field preferred.

Strong experience managing PR agencies and executing media strategies.

Proficiency with email marketing tools (Mailchimp, Revinate, or similar) and digital reporting.

Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.

Strong writing skills and attention to detail.

Familiarity with CMS platforms and analytics tools is a plus.

Ability to work independently and think both creatively and strategically.

Professional demeanor and experience in hospitality a plus.

Salary range:

$65,000 - $75,000

PTO:
