Head of Culture & People at Bishop-Wisecarver
The Marketing Manager is a hands‑on executor responsible for driving demand generation, managing marketing projects, and optimizing the marketing technology stack in a fast‑paced industrial B2B environment. Reporting to the President/Owner (who will retain strategic control), you will turn strategy into action—delivering campaigns, coordinating resources, and leveraging technology to accelerate growth. A relentless focus on ROI is essential: every activity must be measured, reported, and optimized for business impact.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of marketing projects and campaigns tailored to industrial B2B buyers.
Coordinate cross‑functional teams, vendors, and partners to ensure deadlines and objectives are met.
Implement project management best practices (Agile, Kanban, or similar) to drive efficiency and accountability.
Demand Generation
Execute multi‑channel demand generation campaigns (digital, email, social, events, ABM) to drive qualified leads and pipeline growth for complex, technical sales cycles.
Optimize lead nurturing, scoring, and handoff processes in collaboration with sales.
Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance with a focus on ROI; iterate quickly to improve results and maximize return.
Manage and optimize the marketing technology stack, with hands‑on expertise in HubSpot (CRM & automation), Showpad (sales enablement), and Magento (e‑commerce).
Ensure data integrity, integration, and effective use of MarTech tools to support campaign execution, reporting, and ROI measurement.
Stay current on MarTech trends and recommend practical tools or enhancements relevant to industrial B2B marketing.
Content & Creative Coordination
Work with internal and external resources to deliver high‑quality, technical content and creative assets for campaigns.
Ensure brand consistency and timely delivery across all marketing materials.
Analytics, Reporting & ROI
Own the measurement and reporting of all marketing activities, with a clear focus on ROI, pipeline contribution, and business impact.
Monitor key marketing metrics (leads, conversion rates, cost per lead, customer acquisition cost, ROI, etc.) and provide actionable insights to leadership.
Use data to inform campaign adjustments, resource allocation, and continuous improvement.
Serve as the primary point of contact for marketing project execution.
Communicate project status, risks, results, and ROI to stakeholders clearly and proactively.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
4+ years of hands‑on marketing experience in an industrial B2B environment.
Demonstrated expertise managing and optimizing HubSpot, Showpad, and Magento.
Proven ability to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.
Track record of measuring, reporting, and optimizing marketing ROI.
Strong analytical skills; comfortable with data‑driven decision‑making.
Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
Experience executing digital and integrated marketing campaigns for technical or industrial products.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Self‑starter with a bias for action and continuous improvement.
Preferred Experience
Experience in B2B demand generation for complex, technical sales cycles.
Familiarity with Agile or similar project management methodologies.
Experience working with outsourced vendors, agencies, or freelancers.
