We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic Event Marketing Coordinator to support global promotional efforts for the Salt Lake City Temple Celebration. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves crafting compelling stories, and is passionate about creating meaningful experiences through thoughtful marketing. You’ll play a key role in reaching and inspiring audiences who will participate in this sacred and historic event.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Event Marketing Manager to implement multi-channel marketing strategies for key audiences
Execute marketing plans that promote awareness and participation in the celebration
Coordinate with media outlets, influencers, and community partners to extend reach and visibility
Create engaging content for social media, newsletters, and print materials
Assist in developing press releases, promotional videos, and event signage
Support volunteer teams with messaging, promotional assets, and outreach materials
Monitor campaign performance and make data-informed adjustments
Manage content through the creative workflow process from concept to publication
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business, or related field
Eight years of relevant experience, including marketing a large-scale event (or equivalent education or experience).
A heart for community and celebration
Strong communication and writing skills
Experience in marketing, public relations, or event coordination
Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools
Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks
Creative mindset with attention to detail
Preferred:
Master’s degree preferred.
