Overview We are seeking a Database Design Administrator to join a small team that maintains and expands a suite of web applications critical to our mission. Our stack includes .NET Framework, C#, Telerik, and SQL Server.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement database applications to accommodate a variety of user needs.
Lead on complex SQL Server and Postgres design, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
Support data migration and integration between SQL Server and Postgres environments.
Collaborate with a small team of developers in a highly collaborative environment.
Shape best practices for data access, schema design, and performance across our applications.
Required Qualifications
US Citizenship.
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field.
7+ years of professional experience in software/database development.
Active DoD Secret Clearance.
Strong knowledge of SQL Server schema design and optimization.
Solid experience with Postgres, including performance tuning and cross‑platform data considerations.
Comfort working in a small team where you may wear multiple hats.
Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently on complex issues.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with JavaScript.
Working knowledge in C# / .NET MVC web development (C#, Kendo/Telerik, front‑end integrations).
Familiarity with DoD contract work and software environments.
Background in both application and database architecture.
Schedule & Location Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM. Customer site. Travel required 0‑10%.
