Job Summary
Rhino USA is seeking a Long‑Form Video Content Creator & Vlogger to document and share the journey of developing our new flagship project site — located approximately 25 minutes southeast of downtown Austin. This role focuses on creating a cinematic, episodic YouTube documentary series that captures the heart of the build, while also producing short‑form content optimized for social platforms. The ideal candidate is a storyteller and filmmaker who can both direct the narrative and appear on camera, bringing authentic, behind‑the‑scenes moments to life for our community.
Key Responsibilities
Project Documentation
- Serve as the lead on‑site filmmaker and vlogger, capturing the process, people, and milestones of the Austin build.
- Maintain a consistent presence at the project site; travel up to 10% for Rhino USA events and campaigns.
Long‑Form Storytelling for YouTube
- Develop and edit an episodic, cinematic YouTube series documenting the project from start to finish.
- Build narrative arcs, capture interviews, and highlight the human side of the Rhino USA brand.
Social Media Adaptations
- Create shorter teasers, highlight reels, and cut‑downs for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan release schedules and optimize engagement.
Production Ownership
- Oversee the full content lifecycle — shooting, directing, editing, color, audio, and pacing.
- Incorporate graphics, music, and transitions consistent with Rhino USA’s brand voice and visual identity.
Additional Brand Content
- When not filming at the project site, support the marketing team by producing additional content such as product features, customer stories, and cultural moments across the Rhino USA brand.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in long‑form video production, editing, and storytelling (portfolio required).
- Background in documentary filmmaking, lifestyle, construction, or adventure content strongly preferred.
- Strong storytelling instincts — able to turn real processes into engaging visual narratives.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Skilled in operating professional camera equipment, drones, and audio gear.
- Comfortable both behind and in front of the camera.
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple concurrent video projects.
- Performance Bonus: Discretionary, based on individual and company performance.
- Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k); paid time off; and employee product discounts.
