FOX44/KWKT is seeking a Weekend Sports Anchor/Reporter to cover sports across all our platforms. This is the opportunity to cover Baylor University, home of championship football, basketball, and some of the best high school student/athletes in Texas.

Responsibilities
- Cover sports across all platforms; focus on Baylor University athletics and local sports.
- Enterprise, research, and present sports stories with an emphasis on local sports.
- Shoot, write, and edit stories on a daily basis.
- Work flexible hours, weekends, holidays, and other duties as assigned; organize and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
- Sports reporting experience preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of sports and sports-related activities.
- Fluency in English—written and verbal.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record; pre-employment background check required.
Additional Information
Must be able to sit, conduct telephone conversations, use electronic mail, write letters and memos, conduct face-to-face discussions with individuals or groups, make decisions with limited supervision that may impact results of the station and/or co-workers, work in close proximity to others, work outdoors occasionally in all weather conditions, and work indoors in environmentally controlled conditions. Must be able to lift, set up and operate equipment weighing up to 45 pounds, and to handle, control or feel objects, tools, or controls. Repetitive movements are required. Work may be conducted in extremely bright or inadequate lighting conditions.
