We’re looking for a Content Strategist who can see the story before it’s told — someone who listens deeply, asks sharp questions, and helps shape how a brand shows up in the world.
At ROCKON MEDIA, content strategy isn’t just about posts and pages. It’s about finding the moment of truth in a client’s story — the thing that makes people remember, trust, and act — and then building content that brings that moment to life across platforms.
You’ll work closely with Clint Calder, our founder, to identify story opportunities with clients, define their positioning within the industry, and craft narratives that connect. This isn’t a copy-paste content role — it’s about creative direction, narrative intelligence, and cross-medium storytelling that looks and feels premium.
Once you’re familiar with our clients and their needs, you’ll be encouraged to spread your wings — fully owning content strategy and development for a handful of clients and building the creative resources needed to make the magic (and mischief) happen.

What You’ll Do
ROCKON MEDIA is looking for a strategist who’s equal parts storyteller, editor, and creative director. You’ll turn discovery calls and raw ideas into clear, memorable content that wins hearts and drives results.
On the daily, you will:
- Work directly with Clint and clients to uncover stories worth telling — and decide how to tell them.
- Develop messaging frameworks, content calendars, and brand narratives that align with client goals.
- Write and edit copy across formats (social, web, video scripts, case studies, campaigns).
- Collaborate with designers and video editors to ensure every piece of content looks as good as it sounds.
- Translate brand strategy into tactical content plans across platforms (LinkedIn, IG, YouTube, etc.).
- Guide clients on tone, positioning, and differentiation within their industry.
- Keep tabs on industry trends, competitor narratives, and cultural shifts that influence story impact.
- Maintain creative standards — clarity, originality, and emotional truth above all.

Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in content strategy, brand storytelling, or creative direction.
- Proven ability to craft compelling narratives that stand out in crowded markets.
- Excellent writing and editing skills — you can shift tone to match brand voice effortlessly.
- Experience collaborating with designers, editors, and video teams to bring ideas to life.
- Strategic thinker — you don’t just make content, you know why it matters and where it fits.
- Comfort leading client discussions and defending creative ideas with logic and empathy.
- Deep curiosity about people, brands, and industries — you dig before you draft.
- Bonus: Agency, media, or journalism background.
- Bonus: Portfolio that shows narrative range (brand storytelling, campaigns, and visual execution).
