Writer/Journalist Programme at The Borgen Project
The Borgen Project is an international organisation working to improve living conditions for people impacted by war, famine and poverty. Our advocacy campaigns focus on bringing global poverty to the forefront of U.S., Canadian and U.K. foreign policy.
The role is focused on content creation for BORGEN Magazine or The Borgen Project Blog. This is a part‑time 12‑hour‑per‑week, 12‑week unpaid remote programme that can be completed in fewer weeks if your availability is limited.
Responsibilities will include:
- Article writing.
- Researching topics.
- Assisting with The Borgen Project's advocacy efforts.
- Assisting with fundraising: create a personal fundraising campaign and meet targets.
Experience: No prior experience is necessary; we look for people passionate about fighting poverty and righting wrongs, regardless of GPA or background.
Details: This is an unpaid programme, although college credit may be available.
Start date: New programmes begin every month; you choose the month you wish to start.
