Campus Title: School/Division: Academic Affairs, Division of Department: Communication Disorders & Sciences Faculty Sub-Type: Adjunct Faculty Salary Level: A0 Salary Range: $4000 per 3 credit hour course Position Effort: Part-Time Position Summary: The department is establishing a pool of applicants to fill potential part-time temporary teaching positions. Major Responsibilities: Clinical supervision of graduate and undergraduate students enrolled in on- and off-campus practicum. Clinical experiences include screenings, diagnostics, and therapy. Demonstrate a broad range of clinical experiences across the lifespan. Assessment and intervention experiences should include the following: AAC, autism, voice, fluency, aphasia, adult communication disorders, early childhood, and school-age speech and language disorders. Demonstrate strong clinical writing skills. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and professional skills with students, clients, families, colleagues, and other professionals. Functional and Supervisory Relationships: Works under the direct supervision of the Department Chair and Clinic Director. Works closely with faculty and staff within the department. Additional working relationships with faculty and staff in other college departments when appropriate. Required Qualifications: Master’s degree in Communication Disorders/Speech-Language Pathology or its equivalent. American Speech-Language-Hearing Association’s (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in speech-language pathology. New York State License in Speech-Language Pathology. Three years of clinical experience in speech-language pathology. At least 2 CEUs in Supervision prior to start date. Preferred Qualifications: Clinical supervisory experience.
