Graphic Designer Job at The New Orleans Jewish Community Center in Margate City

The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating, implementing, and generating compelling visual design and communication pieces to be used for program communication, advertising, and information purposes. This fast - paced position provides visual information and promotional materials for all of the JCC's departments. Working in collaboration with the Marketing Director and Art Director, the Graphic Designer will develop collateral for new programs, promotions and events and maintain updates to existing items. Minimum Qualifications: Duties & Responsibilities Design and layout of in-house marketing materials and print advertisements to support JCC Programs and Services Work with the respective marketing team members for fundraising, direct mail, branding and social media materials/campaigns Design and develop projects from beginning to end Ensure all materials adhere to the JCC Brand Guidelines Assist with the development and implementation of a yearly, agency-wide program marketing strategy/plan Create content for In - House TV Displays Attend programs throughout the building to take photos for marketing materials as needed Requirements & Qualifications Strong Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite SEO optimization, PHP, and animation knowledge is a plus Knowledge HTML, CSS, web design and content management The talent to develop creative concepts based on client's input, and the ability to accept criticism and incorporate changes Detail oriented and organized with the ability to multitask Ability to maintain brand identity Awareness and knowledge of Social Media and the latest trends Time and project management skills to meet deadlines efficiently Works well in a fast-paced team environment Great sense of design, typography and web design skills, as demonstrated by your portfolio A clean, well-organized, professional online portfolio that exhibits knowledge of graphic and web design, as well as design fundamentals such as typography, composition, and color $35,000 - $45,000 Agency Information: We are a non-profit, and there are lots of room for growth and learning opportunities.
