POSITION OVERVIEW: As a
Marketing Manager
at LJA
Business Solutions , you will be responsible for managing team efforts to prepare responses, submittals, and proposals; and conducting other marketing activities related to specific targets or prospects as needed. This individual will play a pivotal role in elevating the firm’s brand in Florida, and supporting pursuit efforts through compelling, client-focused marketing initiatives. This position requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical understanding, and hands-on execution, with a strong focus on collaboration with practice leaders, technical staff, and business development teams. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with marketing team leads and key stakeholders to enhance the firm’s Florida brand presence through communications and external-facing materials. Support pursuit planning and business development efforts by working closely with operations and BD teams to develop client proposals and submittals. Ensure consistency and quality in the presentation of marketing materials by standardizing formats and refining messaging. Serve as a primary point of contact for Florida marketing - overseeing the development of regional marketing collateral, including brochures, one-pagers, and client-focused materials, in collaboration with the creative team. Work closely with Marketing’s Events/Comms team on Florida events and communications, ensuring that industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events align with business goals and reinforce brand identity. ROLE EXPECTATIONS
Act as the marketing main point of contact/leader in managing key internal initiatives that contribute to LJA Florida’s market expansion. Maintain alignment and communication between Florida operations and corporate marketing managers, ensuring seamless execution of growth-focused initiatives. Ensure all materials, messaging, and branding efforts consistently reflect LJA’s identity and business objectives. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field. 6+ years of marketing experience in the AEC industry preferred. Proven experience managing complex proposals and marketing campaigns. Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills. Proficiency in InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and CRM systems (e.g., Deltek Vantagepoint). Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse teams across multiple time zones, including senior leadership and technical staff. IDEALLY, YOU SHOULD ALSO HAVE
The ability to guide and motivate a team, delegate tasks effectively, and manage emotions to foster a positive and productive work environment, especially under pressure.
