Overview
Senior Associate, Consumer Lifecycle Marketing The mission of our Retention Marketing team is to build lasting relationships with our audiences – consumers, dashers, and/or merchants – as soon as they engage with DoorDash by providing them with a personalized, cross-channel experience that delights them and drives them to return to DoorDash to find the products and experiences that are relevant to them. We are looking to bring on a strategic, solution-oriented, and creative retention marketer to join the New Verticals retention team. In this role, you will focus on launching and maintaining CRM programs that help drive growth and retention for DoorDash during seasonal moments & holidays, or “Occasions” – think everything from Easter to a month-long winter holidays campaign. You will define and own business metrics, and collaborate with all parts of the business to create CRM campaigns that drive growth to DoorDash during key consumer moments. Responsibilities
Create and maintain campaigns & workflow strategy for occasional efforts, including offer, cadence, and audience testing. Analyze the impact of initiatives on key business metrics like order rate and revenue. Creative ideation & iteration, including creative optimization with the help of internal creative resources. Consult and oversee strategy for various customer experience (Cx) workstreams. Collaborate with strategy & operations, brand, product marketing, analytics, and the Retention team to engage and retain active customers on emerging lines of business at DoorDash. Report to the New Verticals + Occasions Lead on the Consumer Lifecycle Marketing team within Growth Marketing. Increase personalization and relevance within audience lifecycle in collaboration with Lifecycle Marketing Managers. Manage email reporting dashboards, monitor trends, and make recommendations based on results. Stay current on marketing best practices in email, push, and SMS and share learnings with the broader marketing team. Qualifications
4+ years of experience in CRM or email marketing. Deep familiarity with CRM technology including ESPs/marketing automation platforms. Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail. Strong writing and communication skills. Basic knowledge of SQL, HTML and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Periscope). Knowledge of email industry best practices including contact strategies, targeting and segmentation, A/B testing, and analytics. Extremely organized, dependable, self-motivated, and able to multi-task. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Offer and Benefits
We expect this position to be filled by 9/23/25. The compensation range in the United States is $83,000—$122,000 USD and includes opportunities for equity grants. Base salary is localized by work location and market conditions.
