We’re looking for an experienced marketing strategist to develop and manage omnichannel marketing prospect campaigns on Capital One’s rapidly growing Card Partnerships business.
This Senior Associate role is part of the horizontal Customer Lifecycle Marketing team, which designs programs for our entire Partnerships portfolio—some of the most admired brands in the world such as REI, Williams Sonoma and BJ’s.

Responsibilities
Drive and execute marketing strategies for new, innovative multi‑channel campaigns across owned channels.
Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to build and launch marketing intent, including Creative, Segmentation, and Journey Builds through Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other internal platforms.
Leverage insights & performance results to identify opportunities to optimize marketing programs via creative testing or adopting new marketing technologies.
Write clear and concise creative briefs, test documents, test plans, and strategies, driving continued performance and optimization against KPIs across channels.
Merchandize and socialize marketing & business results with broader stakeholder groups across the Partnerships, Card, and Enterprise through data‑backed storytelling.
Collaborate with multiple cross‑functional teams including creative agencies, analytics, research, operations, legal and client/partner.
The Ideal Candidate
Demonstrates strong curiosity, ability to learn quickly, and think creatively to uncover and apply actionable consumer insights.
Has an interest, and ideally experience, in marketing technology like Salesforce Marketing Cloud to make marketing more personalized and relevant.
Has a passion for leveraging data, metrics and insights to drive results and learnings.
Can manage the details of multiple projects, deadlines and changing priorities, while maintaining excellent and accurate work.
Thrives in ambiguity and is eager to come up with creative solutions to solve problems.
Thrives on collaboration with partner teams and is comfortable operating in a large, matrixed organization.
Is a highly effective communicator who can influence internal decision makers with formal recommendations and informal networking.
Proactively and continually pushes the boundaries and asks how we can continue to do things better, identifying areas of opportunity.
Adept at briefing and collaborating with creative teams, external agencies and internal resources on the development of marketing assets.
Maintains an understanding of external environmental trends, industry trends, competitor trends to spark fresh ideas and ensure team capabilities can meet the evolving marketplace.
