Role Associate Photographers are the talented and versatile team responsible for media collection for Homes.com and Apartments.com. Equipped with a Pro 3 Matterport camera, digital camera equipment and an iPad, they create virtual tours, floor plans, and photography for residential homes and other properties. Each photographer serves a core territory and works with clients, sales associates, logistics and management teams.

Responsibilities

Support marketing efforts on Homes.com and Apartments.com by capturing 3‑D virtual tours and floor‑plan footprints.

Create a portfolio of photographs that best feature homes and apartments, using photography techniques to capture the spaces in a pleasing manner.

Collaborate with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointments and meet client demands.

Communicate professionally with clients, sales, researcher partners, and management to prioritize initiatives and tasks.

Own the market: navigate one‑mile square grids to ensure complete commercial real‑estate data coverage, identify new inventory, missing availability, and commercial properties to photograph.

Abide by CoStar safety standards to safeguard company vehicles and equipment.

Represent CoStar professionally at all times.

Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of professional photography experience; real‑estate photography required.

Experience as a professional photographer or a recent degree in photography.

FAA Part 107 drone‑photography license, obtained within 30 days of hire.

Strong time‑management skills and a detail‑oriented approach.

Ability to accurately capture and enter data.

Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills.

Proficiency with Windows, Apple OS, Microsoft Office, and internet applications.

Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment; field experience preferred.

Valid driver’s license; passing a driving‑record check.

Physical Requirements Repetitive and frequent sitting in a car, standing, and walking for up to 8 hours a day; ability to lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 5 lb; repetitive hand and arm movements to type on a tablet or laptop and operate camera equipment; occasional bending and lifting required. Must work weekends on a rotating schedule and be able to drive outside during all seasons.

Compensation This hourly role is bonus‑eligible. Base pay is $50,000 annually with the opportunity for monthly performance‑based bonuses.
