Sr Manager Customer Marketing, West Region Position Overview: Shaw Industries Group, Inc., a leader in flooring and other surface solutions, seeks a Senior Manager of Customer Shopper Marketing to serve as the strategic bridge between national brand initiatives and localized customer marketing execution across Shaw Industries’ residential flooring portfolio. Operating within the West Region—preferably based in Southern California—this role partners closely with sales leaders and top‑tier clients, especially independent flooring dealers, to tailor and activate co‑marketing plans that drive sales, elevate brand presence, and deliver exceptional consumer experiences. The focus is on digital marketing, ROI measurement, and cross‑functional collaboration, translating national strategies into impactful regional programs, managing budgets and co‑op funds, and continuously optimizing customer engagement across builder, retail, and home‑center segments.

Responsibilities

Work with independent retail and local builder partners to create best‑in‑class consumer experiences in‑store and online, driving sales and increasing brand desirability.

Execute strategy across all Shaw’s brands and customer groups (i.e., Shaw Flooring Network and other buy groups), establishing and delivering the brand’s financial targets within the West geography.

Develop and manage co‑marketing plans, sell‑in plans, advertising, marketing, and promotional assets, digital marketing, and online content that support Shaw brands’ annual plans and deliver on sales goals.

Collaborate with internal sales teams and customers to develop specific annual co‑marketing plans, including detailed budgets aligned with sales and advertising plans focused on digital marketing tactics and timing.

Measure and evaluate ROI through sales and promotion effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives, reporting results by customer quarterly with a heavy focus on ROAS for digital media, and tracking annual marketing spend and effectiveness.

Manage co‑op/BDF funds with customers to ensure effective usage.

Continuously optimize the online consumer experience through trade partner websites, content management, product demo strategies, retailer‑website consumer ratings and reviews, and digital co‑marketing campaigns.

Maintain a regular cadence of meetings with key customer marketing departments to plan, measure, and improve initiatives.

Support marketing needs for key product launches across brands, leveraging brand content and working with sales, digital, and training teams for a robust launch at each customer.

Travel within the United States, primarily within the West geography and to headquarters in Dalton, Georgia.

Report to the VP, Customer Marketing.

Requirements

Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Management, or a related field and 5+ years of experience in brand management, marketing, customer/trade channel marketing, or sales.

Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Strong budget management and analytical skills.

Action‑oriented and responsive in a fast‑paced environment.

Knowledge of digital marketing content, platforms, and measurement.

Preferred

Experience working directly with sales and customers to create and execute marketing plans, especially with independent retailers.

Experience in the home renovation space, either with retail or manufacturing.
