Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field. Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend English at a level sufficient to communicate effectively with clients, members, guests, and co-workers. Training & Experience
5–7 years of marketing experience, ideally within a luxury hotel or resort environment. Experience leading integrated campaigns and managing external agencies strongly preferred. Communications & Content Creation Strong writing/editing for newsletters, press releases, and resort guest updates. Content calendar development and storytelling tailored to affluent audiences.
Graphic Design Support Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite). Ability to create or edit visual assets for campaigns, social media, and guest and communications. Collaborating with designers or agencies to ensure brand consistency and visual appeal.
External Agency Management Briefing, reviewing, and approving creative assets and campaigns. Ensuring agency output aligns with brand standards, timelines, and goals.
Event Marketing & Guest Engagement Promotion and support of guest events to drive engagement. Collaboration with hospitality and operations teams.
Market Research & Competitive Analysis Awareness of industry trends and competitor offerings. Ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
Data Analysis & Reporting Campaign performance tracking and ROI analysis. Familiarity with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Excel, BI dashboards).
Job Summary
The Marketing Manager oversees all marketing initiatives for the resorts within GATE Hospitality Group’s portfolio, driving brand visibility and guest acquisition. This role serves as the primary liaison with the advertising and public relations agencies and works closely with revenue-generating departments to ensure cohesive messaging and measurable results. Working alongside the Director of Marketing and Brand Strategy, the role’s key responsibilities include: Campaign Leadership
Plan, develop, and execute timely integrated marketing campaigns (digital, print, and social) that support resort revenue objectives and brand positioning. Digital Platforms: Manage ongoing edits and updates to resort websites, maintaining accurate, engaging, and user-friendly content. Social Media Management: Oversee resort-specific social media accounts—working with agency to plan content, create posts and stories, schedule content, monitor engagement, and stay ahead of trends to drive growth and awareness. Public Relations & Writing: Partner with the agency on public relations initiatives including media outreach, press releases, and influencer partnerships. Provide writing and editing support for press materials, guest communications, and brand storytelling as needed. Creative & Advertising Development: Plan and produce marketing materials and targeted advertising (digital and print) aimed at guest acquisition and retention. Includes determining which creative needs are handled in-house and which are executed by the external agency, Agency & Partnership Collaboration: Work closely with the advertising agency on creative projects, promotional partnerships, and special campaigns to drive guest bookings and enhance guest spend. Budget & Performance Tracking: Manage the resort marketing budget, track campaign results, process invoices in a timely manner, and adjust strategies based on data and ROI. Cross-Department Collaboration: Coordinate with operations, sales, and other revenue-generating departments to align messaging and maximize opportunities for guest engagement and spend. Compliance & Brand Standards: Adhere to club policies, privacy standards, and brand guidelines while maintaining the sensitivity to confidentiality and exclusivity.
