Join us as a WordPress Web Designer and SEO Specialist for our W.I.L.D. Love(TM) Adventure Ministry - a wellness program pairing hiking and green exercise with self-love principles. You will report directly to an experienced IT Executive and be the visionary to propel our hiking adventures to new heights in the global digital sphere. Hiking Team Roles Program Director – has overall responsibility for the hiking group. Hike Coordinator – creates the seasonal schedule and tracks attendance at all hikes. Can be a virtual role. Hike Planner – Recommends and plans a single hike. Group Leader – Leads one hiking group on the day of the hike. Group Sweep – Hikes last in the group and keeps a count of the hikers. Photographer/Videographer – takes photos and videos during the hike. Social Host – Plans the after hike social. Social Media Strategist – revolutionizes our digital presence and grows our brand following. (Virtual) Website Designer (YOU) – designs, develops, and maintains website. (Virtual) Website Designer Responsibilities Create a highly engaging visitor, participant, and donor experience in WordPress. Develop responsive layouts and pages using WordPress templates and/or custom code, maintaining the consistency of the website\'s look and feel and working with the marketing team members to ensure a cohesive brand experience. Optimize and implement SEO strategies to optimize web pages and enhance visibility and ranking on search engines. Maintenance: Collaborate with marketing, hiking, and organizational team members to ensure all web content is up-to-date weekly. Continuous Improvement: Analyze user feedback and implement new website features and enhancements to continually improve performance and the user experience.
