Pixel Technologies is seeking an AV Integration/Commissioning Specialist to set up and commission audio-visual equipment for enterprise customers. The role involves leading, supporting, and coordinating technicians, programmers, and customers throughout projects.
Compensation Base pay range: $85,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr
Responsibilities Registration and setting changes of VTC codec endpoints (Cisco, Poly, Logitech, etc.)
Proficient with Crestron, AMX, Extron, Shure, Biamp, and QSC hardware components
Proficient with Crestron Toolbox, Biamp Tesira, Q-SYS, and Shure software
Write, configure, and adjust digital signal processors (DSP) including Biamp and QSC
Minor programming capabilities (Crestron/QSC/Extron) - changes and troubleshooting
Demonstrate job site leadership with all subcontractors, technicians, engineers, and programmers
Ability to lead, perform, and direct installation for small to large scale projects, to include Emergency Operation Centers, and working alongside GCs for Construction projects
Act as a customer liaison in absence of Project Manager
Analyze and interpret system drawings
Review project Scope of Work (SOW) to ensure quality and completeness of installation
Perform hardware upgrades to all AV components
Fine tune audio-video systems to ensure optimal performance
Ability to work with a remote system programmer to load and diagnose interfaces
Extensive background in troubleshooting complex audio, video, and network related issues
Knowledge of advanced signal flow for audio, video, and control
Comfortable and able to communicate with C-Level executives
Ability to train and educate customers on installed equipment and receive a final sign off from the customer showing job completion
Compile and submit all project related deliverables including redlining CAD documents

Understanding of network infrastructure and A/V system design requirements
Understanding of Audio/Visual project lifecycle from solicitation to final inspection
Familiar with current version of BICSI and AVIXA best practices
Strong team player with the ability to adapt to diverse team members
Ability to perform in a fast paced/high volume environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional Critical Thinking skills
Detail Oriented - a high level of attention to detail is required
A high level of time management, accountability, and prioritization skills

Experience and Education 5+ years experience in collaboration or Audio-Visual Integration
High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
Preferred Training and Certifications Crestron Level II
Extron Certified AV Associate
Advanced Networking
Certifications to complete within six months of employment Pixel Technologies requires completion of listed certifications or training within six months of employment.
