Buying Content Manager to support a client in the Research Triangle Park, NC area. The role is within the Procurement Buying Goods & Services team, responsible for the global Strategy, Design, Governance and Improvement roadmap of end-to-end BG&S processes and operations. The process impacts 400+ Procurement employees, 15,000 shoppers and 38,000 suppliers across Sourcing, Supplier Relationship Management, Master Data, Requisition, Purchase Order, Invoice and Payment processes. The Buying Goods & Services Transformation programme emphasizes defining an adequate strategy and managing buying channel content to suit regional specifics. A fluid buying content and employee shopping experience is expected to increase compliance and improve the experience for requesters, suppliers, procurement & operations. Pay Range: $65 - $69.30 Key Responsibilities (No more than 10 bullet points): Describe the key deliverables to be achieved by the role and ongoing responsibilities. Implement the buying channel vision to enable "shoppable content" in the Ariba Guided Buying module by partnering with Procurement category managers and business stakeholders to design and implement best-in-class buying and payment channel strategies across all areas of spend in the region. Responsible for optimization and activation of buying channels per category, ensuring governance and decision authority on buying channel strategies and Guided Buying tile design meets business needs and priorities. Optimize internal or third-party solutions available to procurement and requisitioners (e.g., catalogs, marketplaces, tail spend management solutions). Establishing and monitoring KPIs and regular governance to ensure buying channels are optimized, to identify opportunities to increase procurement value and/or simplify the requisitioning experience for stakeholders. Soliciting the Voice of the Customer and operating a continuous improvement cycle for the buying channel management (monitor, improve, monitor, adjust) to enable the employee experience journey. Driving change and adoption within the shopper and regional Procurement team. Ensuring training material, process documentation and other supporting material are developed and maintained as well as monitoring end user support, training and communication effectiveness. Continually assessing external and internal benchmark and best practice trends and benchmarks. Support strategic initiatives for Procurement programs on the content of the BG&S process & systems, such as Mergers or Acquisitions. Partner closely with the Buying Goods & Services GPOs and head of Buying Goods and Services. Partner closely with global and regional category teams to facilitate strategies into a buying channel strategy.
