Overview Let your creativity shine at WISC TV. We’re looking for a smart, hard-working, engaged individual to be a part of our Creative Services team. The ideal candidate is a motivated producer with experience in both pre-production and post-production. You’ll work closely with Sales, News and Marketing to produce effective local advertising and memorable messaging. What You’ll Do Work with advertisers and WISC Account Executives (AE) on commercial & video productions Shoot, edit, light and write quality and compelling content Assist in station sales & promotional events Schedule shoots, coordinate equipment, staff & outside talent as needed for projects Develop concepts for commercials & other projects Estimate production costs & provide estimates to clients or AEs Produce & direct commercial productions Produce effective news and programming promotion for the station Work with other directors, writers, photographers & editors as needed What You’ll Bring High School diploma or equivalent; degree in Film or TV Production preferred Skill in every facet of the production process Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to details Ability to work as part of a team or alone as needed Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure Strong customer service skills Ability to work well with clients and other station team members Creative thinking, strong problem-solving skills Strong writing skills Ability to shoot and edit Ability to represent station in a positive, professional manner Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to work a flexible schedule Demonstrated efficiency with video cameras, lighting, non-linear editing, Adobe Creative Suite Programs Experience with a wide range of cameras and shooting techniques preferred Experience using Gimble and track slide is a plus Drone licensed and experience a plus What WISC TV Offers We’re a dynamic and progressive family-owned business that values our employees, our culture and our community We are a team of talented and creative professionals.
